GERARDO HARO

Born and raised in Mexico City.

After an enriching period in California, Gerardo was invited to Portugal in 1998 to take on a leadership role in rebuilding and transforming a design firm that would go on to become one of the most influential in the country, expanding his work internationally across Europe, Africa, and the Americas.

He graduated from Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA) and began his career in leading Mexican design studios, later joining Young & Rubicam before becoming Head of Design in Lisbon.

Over the years, he has developed visual identity systems for major brands and financial institutions across Mexico (WTC Mexico City), Portugal (Banco Comercial Português), and Europe, including Sodexo.

Gerardo is also co-creator of the award-winning Casafina Gourmet concept, implemented at El Corte Inglés and Mercado de San Miguel (Madrid), and has worked as a consultant for Starbucks Iberia.
